As many of you may already know, we have been trying to sell our house now since last fall in an effort to financially prepare for future full-time ministry. We have shown the house around 4 or 5 times since it has been on the market. This evening my dad, who is the listing broker, showed the house at 6:00pm.
We've been praying for the house to sell and we know that it will. As my dad has said, "they always do!" Of course, with this crazy housing market, who knows...besides God? We hope to hear something in the next few days.

Funeral Visit
As part of my KSOM internship I had to interview a funeral director to find out some basics of the funeral home "experience". I had the privilege of sitting down and speaking with Lee McCorkle with Heady funeral home on Dixie Hwy today from about 1:00pm to 2:15pm. Some of the questions I asked Lee were:
- What is the process that a family member goes through after they have lost their loved one at the funeral home?
- What is expected of the presiding pastor?
- What trends do you see for services in this post-Christian era we now live in?
I asked Lee many other questions and he freely expounded and offered additional information and advice. He allowed me to record the entire interview and I am working on editing (for time and content considering that we had a lot of small talk) and posting it here. I'll post it here soon.
In addition, I had the opportunity to witness or some might say "clarify" the Gospel for Mr. McCorkle. By the time I left the funeral home, there was no doubt that he had a complete Biblical understanding of the Gospel!
