Judas Died For Your Sins

Whoa! Huh? Yikes! Well, no Judas didn't die for our sins, but Jesus Christ did. The perfect, sinless, God-in-the-flesh, One willingly layed his life down for this world.

Unfortunately, Islam doesn't believe that. And in a feeble attempt to ease tensions between Christianity and Islam, a film-maker has made a huge mistake by claiming that Jesus was taken into heaven and Judas actually morphed into Jesus and was then crucified on the cross. The film is called "The Messiah". He's even provided two endings: one that's Koran-based and another Christian.

In an interview, the film-maker claims that no Christian who has watched the Koran-based ending was offended. My question: Why not?

We should reject this crazy rendition because it's just not Biblical. We should be able to press the Staples "That Was Easy" button and be done with it. But wait a minute. Are there or could there be believers out there who think that Judas could have died on the cross and we would still be saved? I hope not!

Jesus Christ HAD to be the One who died on the cross. A perfect, spotless lamb is the only kind that would do for God to make payment for the sins of this world. Judas was a sinful, wretched man just like the rest of us.

Jesus on the cross, and not Judas, was part of God's ultimate plan to save humanity from the wrath of God. Only those who repent of their sins and place their faith in the one who died on the cross for them will be saved. And that is Jesus Christ.

Jesus not only physically died on the cross, but he physically rose from the grave and physically ascended to heaven where He is seated at the right hand of the Father and will soon return. Jesus was not just a prophet or a good man, but He was God in the flesh. Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to men by which we must be saved. ~Acts 4:12
